Austrian game developer THQ Nordic announced this week that it acquired three new IPs from Mobile Gaming Studios and Enigma Software. THQ Nordic also revealed that the deal with Mobile Gaming Studios and Enigma Software have been closed.

Continuing on its acquisition spree, THQ Nordic today has announced today that it has acquired the rights for the three gaming titles to add to more IPs to its portfolios, the Dual Shockers reported.

The Vienna-based developer now own the three new intellectual properties, which include the following:

Released on 2003, the "Sphinx" is a third person action-adventure game. The game was developed by Mobile Gaming Studios for the Xbox, PlayStation, and Nintendo gaming consoles.

"War Leaders: Clash of Nations" is a turn-based global strategy game, created by the Spanish game developer Enigma Software for the Microsoft Windows. The game is set in World War II environment where the player allows to choose to play as one of seven world war, 2 leaders.

Another Enigma Software title, "Legends of War," a turn-based strategy game series developed for PSP, PS3, Xbox 360, PC and PS Vita. The game is set in different time periods and wars.

In addition, the Austrian developer also announced recently via a press release that it has two games in development for the upcoming Nintendo Switch console. The company also made a comment about its new acquisitions, claiming that the newly acquired IPs, the "Sphinx (the Cursed Mummy)" is well suited for the Nintendo audience. Nordic has also re-confirmed its upcoming two upcoming games for Nintendo Switch. It also noted in its press release that it will be announcing more information about the upcoming Nintendo game console, the VentureBeat reported.

Based in Vienna, Austria, THQ Nordic is a game developer and publisher whose core portfolio comprises of products acquired from JoWooD Entertainment and DreamCatcher Interactive and THQ in 2014. Nordic also acquired a number of franchises and IPs from Novalogic, including Delta Force, and Armored Fist.
