Japanese Tech giant Sony has finally brought its streaming TV service, PlayStation Vue, to the Apple TV. The Sony PlayStation Vue, which is now available on Apple TV 4th-generation devices, offers all of Vue's unique streaming features such as support for Siri Remote, cloud DVR, and simultaneous streaming.

According to Dan Myers, PlayStation Vue head, the new streaming service will provide Apple TV viewers a better option to watch their favorite live TV programming, with no long-term contract commitments.

Sony's PlayStation Vue is a streaming service that includes live TV channels from NBC, Fox, ESPN and others channels. It's offered services like watching live and both on-demand programming from channels like FX, AMC and some market.

Currently, the streaming service starts at $30 a month, though availability depends more on your location. It's much like the iconic Dish's Sling TV, though the basic PlayStation Vue service will get the user to $10 dollar or even more.

However, the user will get more channels in Vue along with some options to buy channels individually or upgrade subscription to get more.

Unlike its rival Sling TV, PlayStation Vue allows viewers to watch their favorite channel on more devices, and simultaneously stream all of them at once, including access to the Vue's cloud-based DVR service. This makes the Sony service a better fit for larger families where several people want to watch different programs on their own devices and Apple TV.

In comparison, Sling TV's best plan, which called Sling Blue, offered only up to three simultaneous streams, thus making Sony a more credible provider.

Sony has been working hard in the past few months. The Japanese tech giant has been looking for better ways on how to make the PlayStation Vue service more accessible to those who don't have a PS4 gaming console.

In October, the service made a home run when it hit the Android TV, and earlier this month, it arrived for the Mac and PC users. However, according to Sony, the Apple TV support still remained one of the company's top target for this year.

In addition, Sony also announced that it's adding a few more stations in the streaming service, including NBA TV, BBC America, along with the broadcast stations from Fox and CBS.
