Legendary Japanese filmmaker Hayao Miyazaki comes out of retirement to create another final film he can add to his long list of animated featured films. However, this news is an early Christmas gift to all of Studio Ghibli's fans as they are set to expect yet another great film from the director.

Miyazaki has just confirmed to all that he's really bad at retiring. In 2013, he declared to 600 present journalists that he has retired and he meant it. But a television special interviewed the filmmaker to which he said he is working on a CG animated film about a very tiny and hairy caterpillar, CNET reported. 

The projects is entitled "Boro the Caterpillar" and Miyazaki has expressed he's not contented for the story to be told through a short film. Therefore, he's working on its full length version and expecting it to be done by 2019 or 2020.

Boro took 20 years to conceptualize and although the studio hasn't given Miyazaki the green light yet, it is expected that the film will get done anyway, The Verge reported. He even noted that he will be 80 years old by the time it's done but he's guaranteed that people will see it before the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.

Miyazaki is known for internationally successful animated feature films such as "Princess Mononoke", "My Neighbor Totoro", and "Spirited Away". This out-of-retirement news is nothing else but a pleasant gift for fans worldwide. His works have been critically acclaimed.

The director himself even received the highest honor in film; three Academies for his "Spirited Away", "The Wind Rises" and "Howl's Moving Castle". More importantly, he creates his works for children, which children all around the world celebrates. What could be highest honor than that?

A Studio Ghibli producer once said Miyazaki will be drawing story boards until he dies. Fans should hope this doesn't come soon because the world needs more of his films.
