Good news for millions of "Diablo 3" players. Developer Blizzard Entertainment has just announced plans to release a console version for both PS4 and Xbox One consoles. The company said it will possibly be arrived by next year.

In its official Diablo Twitter account, the company tweeted that Blizzard is adding more features to the console versions, including the season modes, season leaderboards and much more.

For a beginner, "Diablo" is an action role-playing hack and slash dungeon video game series developed by Blizzard Entertainment and first released on December 31, 1996. The heavily action-packed game is set in the fantasy world of Sanctuary, which created by the Archangel Inarius for angels and devils. It focuses on the battle between the human in the World of Sanctuary and the series' chief antagonist, Diablo.

Season mode, which expected to release around 2017 for PS4 and Xbox One, will give rewards for players and allows them to earn full six-piece class set when they complete a certain goal or quest. Rewards may include cosmetic items and pets. Players will be able to enhance their skills if they will get a lot of these set.

Diablo will also feature seasonal leaderboards which will allow players to race against each other to get a top spot on the game's leaderboards.

Update is also coming to the Armory. The new update will facilitate better management of load outs so that players won't have to manually keep on changing out their skills and builds. The update will support five builds, skills, items, Kana's Cube, passives, and the Legendary Gems.

Another one is a new tab for creating materials which will prevent players from getting inventory slots. In addition, there's also a snapshot feature called Challenge Rifts which allows players to snapshot actual players' builds every week and players can also try this feature in the static dungeon.

Based in Irvine, California, Blizzard Entertainment is a renowned game developer and publisher. The company is currently a division of the US-based tech giant Activision Blizzard.

Diablo 3 is currently available on PC, PS4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One consoles.
