Google is expected to launch a revamp Nexus 7 2016 tablet to the market in the near future, and many have speculated whether it would be a Pixel or still a Nexus device.

Judging from its predecessor, one advantage of the Nexus tablet iteration is its affordable pricing. The Verge has learned that the tablets have always been durable yet cheap. As a reminder, Google Pixel comes out with a hefty price tag that makes it fall under premium category. Branding the tablet with 'Pixel' may actually shift the classification of this device.

The upcoming Nexus 7 is expected to rock the newest hybrid OS, Andromeda. If the speculation comes to fruition, this will be the first tablet to run the newest operating system. The 7-inch device will likely get AMOLED screen display, be equipped with a 4GB of RAM backed by a 64GB internal storage, Android Police reported. Other technical specifications include 5,100 mAh battery capacity, 13MP rear shooter and a USB type C port.

Google Pixel phones already rock Snapdragon 821, hence, many would assume that it is likely for Google to equip its Nexus 7 with the same chipset. However, we are talking about a budget-friendly tablet reportedly created by Huawei.

If rumors about Huawei-built Nexus device are to be believed, it is highly likely to be priced much lower than the other similarly specced tablets available in the market today.

Google is expected to introduce the revamped Nexus 7 tablet at a later date this year. This is not just an out-of-nowhere speculation as the notorious leakster, Evan Blass, tweeted the information previously.
