Fans rejoice as Nintendo is not only updating its consoles with the introduction of Nintendo Switch, but the company is also adding two new characters to its Wii U and 3DS games "Hyrule Warriors" and "Hyrule Warriors: Legends" respectively.

According to Game City, Koei Tecmo revealed that characters from "The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds," namely Ravio and Yuga, will be joining the roster of playable characters in "Hyrule Warriors" and "Hyrule Warriors: Legends" via patch update 1.6 on Oct. 31.

While Wii U game "Hyrule Warriors" will only get two additional character, 3DS exclusive "Hyrule Warriors: Legends" will also get a new adventure map called Lorule, 17 points costume and 15 fairy costumes.

According to Gematsu, the upcoming DLC pack, which will be called "A Link Between Worlds Pack," will also be made available to North America and Europe players the same day that it launches in Japan. In terms of its pricing, the said DLC pack will cost players $4.99 / £4.49 / €4,99 for Wii U and $6.99 / £6.29 / €6,99 for 3DS as standalone purchase. Players can also purchase both for only $9.99, which will give them a $1.99 discount.

Meanwhile, delving further details about the additional characters, Ravio first appeared in 3DS' game "The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds" as a mysterious shopkeeper. During battle, he uses his signature hammer, Ice Rod, Bombs and Boomerang to win against his opponents.

Yuga, on the other hand, is an evil sorcerer who makes use of a paint brush against his opponents. Furthermore, he has the ability to call for a giant spear in order to win a battle.

In other news, based on Nintendo's season pass plan that was announced earlier this year, it seems that "A Link Between Worlds Pack" will be the final downloadable content for both "Hyrule Warriors" and "Hyrule Warriors: Legends."
