While analysts are going mad scrutinizing every second of the recently launched "Red Dead Redemption 2" trailer for hidden clues, a hawk-eyed Redittor may have just confirmed that the map leaked in April is indeed real.

The screenshot posted by Redittor yuv912 aligns perfectly with the aforesaid leaked map. Aside from the train tracks and the farm, the "Cumberland Forest" region of the map seems to begin just north of the farm which is also the case in the screenshot. Moreover, the Grizzlies can also be seen in the background. Although, it is not a perfect match, the minor differences might be due to ongoing development.

In other news, the PC version of "Red Dead Redemption 2" will get an announcement, while Rockstar is gearing up to release a brand new trailer for PS4 and Xbox One, according to Wedbush Securities analyst Michael Pachter, who has backed Rockstar to continue a smart marketing approach ahead of the game's Xbox One and PS4 launch.

Although rumor mills never really ceased churning all sorts of speculations around "Red Dead Redemption 2's" release date, it was not before last week that it became official. Avid gamers restlessly waited to see what was in store for them in the next "Red Dead" franchise, but much to their dismay, the "Red Dead Redemption 2" trailer gave very little details.

Pachter believes this will lead to Rockstar coming out with a more elaborated video soon, in tune with the "Call of Duty" launch. Rockstar Games will possibly release another trailer just days before "Call of Duty" launches to continue dominating the headline, Pachter told GamingBolt.

Pachter also believes that Rockstar will eventually announce "Red Dead Redemption 2" on PC. The speculation stems from the fact that "GTA 5" was originally announced for Xbox 360 and PS3 only in November 2011. Rockstar then announced that the game would be on Xbox One and PS4 in June 2014, and several months later, they finally announced it for PC, which came out in 2015.
