Recently, DHL, along with SpaceX, is looking to the future of transportation. Like the Delft Hyperloop from the Delft University in the Netherlands is being transported by DHL Express to SpaceX's Headquarters in California for the upcoming Hyperloop Pod Competition. Delft is going to compete with other schools such as the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

This is a recent study on providing a high speed and sustainable mode of transportation. It can, according to Business Wire, contribute to the development of a tubular transportation system that can travel up to a speed of 745 mph.

Thanks to Elon Musks' SpaceX and DHL, it looks like there is a future in sustainable transportation. DHL is known to be the world leader in express delivery and logistics. For DHL, working with SpaceX and Delft University is to work on the future. Which is why DHL is working with the Delft University of Technology in Netherlands for the Delft Hyperloop. It will be on its to SpaceX in a specially designed flight case on October 27.

College students and teams everywhere are building and designing the best Hyperloop for the Pod competition. It is going to be set on a one mile track at SpaceX in California.

Greg Hewitt, the CEO of DHL Express U.S. is happy to announce the development of a global door to door transportation. According to Hewitt, the company is happy to support any programs that will "push the boundaries of logistics" when it comes to speed and efficiency. DHL has provided information and resources to the Delft Hyperloop team such as the transportation needs, much needed proprietary data, and energy and environmental impact of air and road transportation information.

For DHL, the TU Delft's Hyperloop prototype is just the start. In January 2017, the TU Delft students will showcase their prototype alongside MIT and other schools and tech groups.
