It is expected Microsoft will unveil the Surface PC, codenamed "Cardinal" along with other with new products in an event to be held on October 26th in New York City.

Surface has been talked about in the computing world for some time now. Much like the touted Surface Phone, it is expected to be unveiled this coming October 26th at an event to be hosted by Microsoft in New York City. Other products are likewise, to be unveiled in the said event.

Windows Central reported Microsoft is testing three Surface all-in-one PC's targeted for the living room. Reportedly, the Surface PC will have the different display sizes: 21-inch at Full HD, 24-inch, and 27-inch the latter two having 4K screen resolutions all likely to run on Intel's Kaby Lake 14-nanometer processors. No other details about the hardware are available for now.

Based on leaked FCC filings, it is confirmed Microsoft redesigned their Designer Desktop keyboard and mouse called Surface Keyboard and Surface Mouse respectively. These two accessories might also be launched at the said event and might be sold in a bundle or sold separately.

According to Wccftech, Kaby Lake processors might be ready for launch in Q3 2016. If Intel indeed meets its target, we speculate that we might see Surface PC unveiled during the Microsoft event come October 26th

It is rumored the Surface PC will have a modular design which means users can detach the keyboard from the screen unit. Though Microsoft Surface all-in-one PC is highly anticipated, sources report it may set you back about $999 presumably for the base model.

As for any other details, consumers still has a few more weeks of wait for added information to be available about the Surface PC.
