Maybe you have seen her as a guest star in the television comedy show, "The King of Queens" or maybe in "30 Rock." But Rachel Dratch has been around ever since she became a member of NBC's "Saturday Night Live."

But did you know that she holds two majors under her belt? She actually majored in drama and psychology from Dartmouth College, cites KR CR Tv.

Born in 1966 in Lexington, Massachusetts, the American actress grew up with both parents as reformed Jews. Rachel Dratch attended Hebrew school when she was young. And as custom, she had a Bat Mitzvah. Although now, she is non-observant, she respects the faith she grew up in as part of her culture. But she was always a performer. She even said that during high school, she was always interested in participating in comedies over dramas. Which is probably why she studied drama in college and took in psychology to understand humor further.

In order to receive her higher education, she enrolled in Dartmouth college. Before she graduated, she also attended the National Theater Institute at The Eugene O'Neill Theater Center. In Dartmouth, she majored in Drama and pyschology. Plus, she became a member of the school's improv comedy group called "Said and Done." She graduated in 1988 and moved to Chicago, Illinois. From there, she studied improvisational theater to further her education. She attended The Second City and ImprovOlympic.

Her big break came when she was cast as a "Saturday Night Live" member between 1999 to 2006. She improv'd and impersonated several characters like Denise, a Boston teenager and Debbie Downer.

Her other works include guest starring in "30 Rock", and made several comedies as well. She also published her 2012 memoir titled "Girl Walks Into A Bar: Comedy Calamities, Dating Disasters and a Midlife Miracle."
