Just recently, Academy Award-Winning actress, Brie Larson was announced to play the role of Captain Marvel for the planned Captain Marvel film that comes out in 2019. Amidst all the excitement from this reveal, there are rumors going around that she will not make an appearance in Marvel's upcoming epic, "Avengers: Infinity War Part 1."

On the other hand, in an interview with Yahoo, "Sicario" star Josh Brolin, who will play the role of the mad titan Thanos, gave some insights about the Russo brothers in comparison with the Coen brothers who helmed the film "Hail Ceasar," which he was also a part of. Brolin stated that the similarity of the 2 sets of director duos were their skill of masterful storytelling. This can be felt in their recent film, Captain America: Civil War which was well-received by critics and audiences for it being a roller coaster ride of emotions.

Meanwhile, Marvel Studios president, Kevin Feige announced during the 2016 San Diego Comic Con their progress with Avengers: Infinity War Part 1, by stating that the Russo brothers, and Christopher and Stephen are working hard on pre-production, and will start filming at the end of 2016. Feige also stated that the magnitude of Infinity War Part 1 is something that they have never done before.

Also, according to Ecumenical News, some rumors have predicted that there will be character deaths in Infinity War Part 1, one of which is the big baddie Thanos while Drax the Destroyer from Guardians of the Galaxy may sacrifice himself for the greater good. But then again, fans have also speculated that a hero would die in Captain America: Civil War, as would correlate to what happens in the comics, but was not done in the film. Spoiler Alert, they all live - in the case of Rhode AKA War Machine, he's still breathing. So Feige and the Russo's may forego any character deaths, up until Infinity War Part 2 which is slated for release in 2019.

Marvel's Avengers: Infinity War Part 1 is set to open in movie theaters on May 4, 2018, with Part 2 slated for release on May 3, 2019.
