The Creative Director of NetherRealm Studios - Ed Boon, has officially confirmed the mobile version of the upcoming fighting video game, "Injustice 2."

The American video game programmer Boon, made the announcement at the San Diego Comic-Con 2016. Boon also discussed the PC version of the game, and Boon noted that the PC port of "Injustice 2" is likely to be made, according to Gamepur.

Boon stated regarding "Injustice 2" at the Comic-Con 2016 that "Injustice 2" mobile app will happen. And Boon noted that he described the mobile game and the comic as the two kids the game had that graduated and went on, IGN reported.

The announcement of the mobile version also made it known that Wonder Woman and Blue Beetle were added to the game's roster. As Wonder Woman sports a modified version of her classic outfit in the comics, players can also customize the look of Wonder Woman by using different armor pieces.

Blue Beetle's version will be Jaime Reyes, a teenager who utilizes an alien scarab that bonds with him and will make a dramatic change into an armored warrior, based on the report of Yibada.

However, after Boon confirmed the mobile app for "Injustice 2," Tom Taylor (award-winning comic book author) made it known that he will write a new comic book series for the upcoming fighting video game, Gamerant reported.

Taylor stated that he is excited to do another "Injustice" comic book as he shared the success of the prequel comic of the first game.

The plot of the game follows the first game as Batman tries to rebuild the world after the One Earth Regime of Superman.

Other characters will join the roster include Aquaman, Supergirl, Gorilla Grodd, Atrocitus and The Flash. Characters that are speculated to on board "Injustice 2" include Vixen, Black Canary, Captain Cold, Zoom, Swamp Thing, Green Lantern, Doctor Fate and many more.
