Despite a disappointing E3 2016, it looks like avid "Red Dead Redemption" fans can anticipate an exciting August as Take-Two Interactive has been confirmed as an exhibitor at Gamescom expo in Cologne.

Take-Two Interactive co-founder Strauss Zelnick had earlier announced that a sequel to "Red Dead Redemption" will be rolled out soon, however there is still no on information on "Red Dead Redemption 2" until now, but that might be about to change.

As an exhibitor at Gamescom expo, Take-Two has listed the following products and commodity groups: Action/Adventure, Strategy and Sport. Moreover, the original "Red Dead Redemption" was listed during the event. It was an open-world, western action-adventure franchise, and zealous fans believe that this alludes to the first reveal and release date for the highly-anticipated "Red Dead Redemption 2," Express UK reported.

Not too long ago, Take-Two assured gamers that Rockstar is slated to announce new games. Apparently, some interesting future projects are in the works at Rockstar and these are scheduled to come out soon.

However, the studio confirmed that it has revealed a complete schedule for the fiscal year, implying no new Rockstar games will be rolled out before 2017.

The impending Gamescom 2016 triggered hope that the "Red Dead Redemption 2" will at least be mentioned.

Sequel to the hit action-adventure video game, "Red Dead Redemption" is rumored to arrive next month; however Take-Two and Rockstar have remained mum regarding the title's release date. Rockstar Games is working under Take-Two Interactive, which was involved with the release of some major hits for the studio including "Max Payne" and "Grand Theft Auto."

And taking into consideration that the studio is also involved with "Red Dead Redemption," fans are anticipating that the title will be released soon, along with the equally awaited, "Grand Theft Auto 6," ChristianDaily reported.

Although, this on its own is not enough to make an announcement likely, this year has seen a slew of evidence that hint an imminent big reveal from Rockstar.

It looks like gamers will need to wait with bated breath until Rockstar and Take-Two divulge more concrete details in terms of "Red Dead Redemption 2" release date. Until then, fans are recommended to take these speculations with a grain of salt.
