Sony might manufacture wireless virtual reality devices in the future as they are improving the PlayStation VR.

The PlayStation VR, an exclusive VR headset produced by Sony, is going in a different direction as Xbox' Project Scorpio. Play Station VR is set to launch on 13 October 2016 and can be purchased at $399.

Sony's Executive, Mr. Masayu Ito, said in an interview that the company is planning to give more improvements to the PSVR. Furthermore, he said that the improvements would continue together with a low price tag for the product. He also mentioned about going wireless on the PlayStation VR. Even though, the technology makes it impossible to go wireless in the present time. However, Sony is willing to work to make the PlayStation VR go wireless, Geeks ULTD reported.

Also, the Sony Executive assures the consumers that they will improve the PlayStation VR while lowering the price.

There are current rumors that surfaced saying that the PlayStation VR wireless will use a 5GHz wireless adaptor network. These mysterious wireless device is rumored to be developed by Sony. It will also be more powerful compared to the traditional 2.4 GHz wireless device.

The United States Communications Commission (FCC) exposed the technology certification related to the aforementioned wireless device. The report mentions a USB device that would most likely be used to support wireless network in the PlayStation 4. The patent makes the connection to wireless PlayStation VR closer, Gamersky reported.

The mysterious wireless device has a model number CUH-ZWAU1. It was clearly written in the document that the device is a "Wireless Adaptor" and it would consume 5V power. Although there are doubts on where it would be used, speculations are appearing saying that the device would be used to connect the "Dualshock 4" to the PC. Some, however, say that this will be used in going all out wireless of the PlayStation VR.
