Fans of the Australian actor Travis Fimmel will be in good spirits. As "Vikings" creator and writer Michael Hirst recently said in a statement that Ragnar's story is not yet finish.

Despite the circulating report that Fimmel's character Ragnar Lothbrok will die in the upcoming mid-season, the Canadian-Irish drama series creator Hirst made it known that Ragnar is still alive. Even Ragnar has been defeated, he will come back to avenge himself.

"Vikings Season 4" will resume from Lothbrok as he recovered from the fight he had with Rollo (Clive Standen) during the face off in Paris, as claimed by Entertainment Weekly.  However, at present, new twists and turns are ready to spread out - as the Vikings king will once again discover his purpose. 

Hirst also stated that Ragnar's sons will have to deal with the fact that he's back, no matter how angry they are being left behind, Christian Times reported.

However, most speculations surfaced that Ragnar's come back will no longer make him as the fearsome person in the Viking hierarchy. Most likely, Ragnar will end up unpopular among his followers. And Ragnar's honor and glory will be removed from him.

On the other hand, Ragnar's women - Lagertha and princess Aslaug, might end up in a conflict. As Aslaug (played by Alyssa Sutherland) was last seen creating alliances and she's in the process of making plans for her next move when she takes over the throne. While Lagertha (played by Canadian actress Katheryn Winnick) has some drastic moves that will surely shock the fans, Ecumenical News reported.

However, the major plot of "Vikings" upcoming season is who will rule Kattegat. Chances are, either Ragnar will continue to sit on the throne until its downfall or his wife Aslaug will fill the void.

"Vikings" season 4 is slated to fire up by July or August.
