Loyal fans and players of "Pokemon GO" are eager to see the second generation of Pokemons as well as the legendary ones. Niantic has been tight-lipped about the update but the latest game updates reveal about the release of second generations and legendary Pokemons in March. See details here for the specific date of release!

"Pokemon GO" Gen 2 Release is Imminent Based on the Latest Patch

The latest patch of "Pokemon GO" seems to be revealing something about the second generation of monsters. The latest patch has brought minor updates but Forbes reported that some people from Silph Road managed to dig some information from the new patch that tells about the imminent release of the most awaited set of monsters.

Accordingly, there are 38 new moves that are about to be learned by the second generation Pokemons that were recently discovered from patch data. In addition, the following evolutions are also spotted from the backend: Gloom, Poliwhirl, Onix, Seadra and Porygon that were transformed into Sunflora, Slowking, Scizor, Kingdra and Porygon2, respectively.

Niantic is expected to release 100 new monsters for the second generation Pokemons. It can be recalled that the company has released the starter Pokemon eggs that contains Gen 2 Pokemons last December 2016.

Legendary Pokemons Will Be Released in March

Aside from the Gen 2 Pokemons, Niantic is also rumored to release the Legendary Pokemons in two months. According to Birmingham Mail, Niantic is supposed to release them months ago but take back the decision and pushed back the release in the spring and summer of 2017 because these seasons are reportedly the best ones for the players to explore outside.

"Pokemon GO" is an augmented reality game that was first launched by Niantic in July of 2016 and has been tagged as the most downloaded app of the year. The game has given birth to controversies where players are reportedly involved in road accidents.
