Will Samsung Unveil the Galaxy S8 in MWC 2017?

Due to the hype created by the upcoming Galaxy S8, many fans are hopeful to see the Galaxy S7 successor during the Mobile World Congress 2017 but will Samsung fulfill their wishes? According to CNET, the South Korean tech has not confirmed nor denied the rumor about the MWC launching but a credible leakster named Evan Blass blows it off.

In his Twitter account, Blass posted an image of the purported Galaxy S8 with Galaxy S8 Edge and claiming that Samsung will launch the handsets on March 29. Since Blass is a known tech writer, fans appears to be quite convinced that no such handset will be unveiled during the MWC 2017 in Barcelona, Spain.

Sony is Expected to Reign in MWC 2017

Almost all of the major tech manufacturers have confirmed their attendance for MWC event and that includes the Japanese giant tech firm Sony which is said to reveal powerful devices. The company is rumored to have been sinking for a while because of their struggles in the smartphone market but they are expected to be back on track in the industry.

Back in 2016, Sony has revealed six Xperia smartphones namely X, X Performance, XA, XA Ultra, XZ and X Compact. This year, the company is expected to unveil five smartphones with codenames Yoshino, Blanc Bright, Keyaki, Hinoki and Mineo having the first two categorized as the high-end ones packed with Snapdragon 835 according to Slash Gear.

Accordingly, the five smartphones are presumed to have launching date within the year with Yoshino and Blanc Bright as the first ones to be released given the processors. Meanwhile, fans are waiting for the keynote of Sony to be delivered in February.
