Matthew Hubbard, a special education teacher in the Evarts Elementary School was arrested in the parking lot for alcohol intoxication in a public place, according to the WTVQ news.

The deputies of Harlan County said that they arrived at the scene to find Hubbard intoxicated while standing at the parking lot. He was reported to smell of alcohol while slurring his words. When offered the sobriety test, he refused to take it.

Hubbard has been working at Evarts for two months but was suspended due to the incident. The decision concerning his employment will be based on the outcome of the investigation.

The incident was the second report on a teacher behaving badly to happen in the same week and the fourth one during the semester.

On Thursday, a high school football coach in Gallup, New Mexico, was caught on camera lifting money from his student's wallet. The video was submitted to authorities as evidence that led to his arrest on Saturday.

John D. Roanhaus, the football coach of Miyamura High School, was caught going into the locker room and taking $20 from a student's wallet and slipping it in his socks. A review of the footage had him arrested for theft.

The mother of the student submitted a copy of the video to the police as evidence, according to the report by Nathaniel Renteria who wrote the arrest warrant. The mother emphasized that this was not the first incident when students complained of locker room theft. Because of the incidents in the past, the student set up the camera to finally put an end to the stealing.

When the police asked the student, he told them that he wanted to catch the person responsible for stealing a student's money. Mike Hyatt, the Gallup-McKinley Country School Superintendent confirmed that Roanhaus has been fired. He was also charged with non-residential burglary and larceny and ordered a $2,000 bail.

On September 25 of this year, a Westchester County, New York teacher was suspended by the school authorities of the Cecil H. Parker Elementary School in Mount Vernon, claiming that they did not know about the previous incident that teacher has been involved in. She was terminated from her previous workplace for holding a mock auction of slaves in her 5th-grade social studies class.

An English teacher in Fort Worth, Texas, was put on administrative leave on September 18 after being caught sending a Tweet to Donald Trump to have "illegal" students removed. She was eventually terminated. When asked, Clark said that she wasn't aware of the Tweets going public. She thought only the President can read them.

Clark is going to request for the hearing of her case contesting that the action that the school took was against the employment contract.

The series of teacher outbursts isn't surprising. After all, a teacher's job may be considered as one of the most stressful. However, their job is not just limited in the classroom, they are also expected to set a good example for their students. Even the community has a lot of expectation from teachers that add up to the pressure. If they only are one or the other, then teaching might not be a good fit for them.
