Google is reportedly heading towards releasing Android 7.0 Nougat latest update next month to recent Google hardwares such as Pixel phones, Nexus 6P, Nexus 5X and Pixel tablets. What's more interesting is the message about the possibility of Nexus smartphone revival lies upon the endless support of Google to the well-loved Android smartphones.

Another Hint Taken for Nexus Revival

Google has its tradition to rollout latest Android beta to their latest hardware. For this reason, Android 7.1.2 Nougat is highly expected to rollout to Google Pixel, Google Pixel XL, Pixel C tablet, Nexus 6P and Nexus 5X sooner.

In relation to this, netizens has taken the upcoming update as another hint for Nexus revival possibility which follows the March security update that brought fixes to Nexus 6P problems such as random shutdown, battery failures and Bluetooth, Gigjets reported. Although this claim does not point out any certainty, netizens are reportedly looking forward to have another smartphones that provide Pure Android experience.

What to Expect from Android 7.1.2 Nougat

The next version of Nougat is reportedly on its way and will probably make it to Google hardware within two weeks. Several speculations suggest that Android 7.1.2 update is set for public release on April 3 while others suggest that a rollout will begin at the end of March.

Nevertheless, Android 7.1.2 update is said to bring new and exciting features for Nougat-operated devices. According to Express, the most notable feature of the new update is called "swipe for notifications" which allow the users to bring up all the alerts by swiping the fingerprint sensor instead of the screen.

Furthermore, Android 7.1.2 is expected to include better image keyboard support and revamped app shortcuts. On the other hand, the reported upgrades that are coming soon to Pixel and Pixel phones also indicate about the new associated features of Android OS, the VoLTE calling and security updates through Rogers, Canada's largest carrier.
