Apple Mega-March Event Is Here; New iPads, iPhones, & Wearables Coming

Get ready to see new iPad Pros, an updated Apple Watch, and a red iPhone variant.

Apple could release a series of fresh iOS products starting next week. The imminent mega-March event may happen on the 20th. For one thing, the Cupertino-based company usually sends invites between seven to 10 days prior to the affair.

Apple products to watch out for

Mac Otakara reported that Apple is preparing to reveal new iPad Pro models including a 10.5" variant. It plans to showcase an improved wristband for the iOS Watch as well. Also, an upgraded 9.7" and 12.9" iPad Pros are possibly in the works. Meanwhile, the underrated iPhone SE, previously offered for 16GB and 64GB, gets a whopping 128GB memory update.

The same source added that a third 7.9" model will later replace the iPad Mini 4. On the other hand, the famous iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus are also hot targets under the radar of Apple fans. At the moment, these devices are available in five colors like Jet Black, Black, Silver, Gold, and Rose Gold. Interestingly, consumers may have one more option, the sexiest color to date: Red.

While the mega-March event is just looming around the corner, it is important to note that Apple has not released any official statement to confirm the theories. Nevertheless, the tech firm may finally do so in the coming days. Besides, the reports came from renowned sources namely Ming-Chi Kuo and Blayne Curtis.

Signs that the Apple March event will happen

Per Mac Rumors, Apple has been consistent in hosting a March event in the previous years. For example, in the same month of 2011 and 2012, Apple unveiled new iPad models at the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts. Consequently, the company launched the much-awaited price and release date of the Apple Watch in 2015. Lastly, it released the 9.7" iPad Pro and the latest iPhone SE model last year.

If Apple is really planning another March event this 2017, invites may come in a little late. Considerably, various media outfits claim that the 10.5" iPad Pro might encounter shipping delays. If that is the case, the firm may suspend early announcements too.

Moreover, some believe that the affair is actually set on April 4. Though, this date is based on Personal Pickup for the 12.9" iPad Pro, which is an unreliable indicator of an event. Thus, there are two probable scenarios: Apple invites will be exposed soon or it is planning a Spring event but not this month.
