‘Red Dead Redemption 2’ Could Walk Backwards; Rockstar Reportedly Improving Campaign And Online Play

By

"Red Dead Redemption 2" is reportedly planned to bring back Rockstar to its roots by reintroducing western games to the upcoming title. Part of the developer's plan is the improvement of Campaign and Online Play which has received several complaints from players for being abandoned when Rockstar Games shifted its focus to GTA.

According to RDR2, since "Red Dead Redemption 2" is the lone representative for Wild West in the league of modern console gaming, it might as well be the main inspiration for the game. This in some ways suggests that Rockstar could go backward western to move forward.

In contrast, onlookers doubt such feat for "Red Dead Redemption 2" as they wanted the game to be the trendsetter. Settling in the past by going backward is deemed unacceptable by many.

"Red Dead Redemption 2" might center on Wild West gaming to remain true to its form but the similar trend in gaming has been unsuccessful to some. Remember when "Call of Duty" took advantage of such action but ended up as a curse to its followers.

"Red Dead Redemption 2's lack of focus to multi players and weak online play is worrisome. These weak spots have received notable criticisms from various fans and gamers. Rockstar has to focus on gamer-friendly aspects to deliver and not abandon its online play like what it did to the first "Red Dead Redemption."

Meanwhile, "Red Dead Redemption 2" is said to introduce new playable characters in the game. For sure, most players are familiar with them already. They are Seth and Irish with a customizable third option, What Culture reported.

In addition, the report also mentioned that the "Red Dead Redemption 2" is taking place back in 1889 which will center on the Blackwater Massacre. This storyline has been featured in "Red Dead Redemption" several times already.

For example, during the time when John Marston recalled that he knew Landon Ricketts' name from the said event. This event brings "Red Dead Redemption 2" to different dimension bringing horrible situation. There are more to "RDR2" so keep tuned in.
