Asus is said to launch an affordable smartphone dubbed as the ZenFone 3 Go, and the device is set to be unveiled during the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2017 event in Barcelona, Spain. Nonetheless, Asus silently introduced the affordable smartphone with a different moniker, Zenfone Live, which aimed at the selfie fans.

The budget smartphone Asus ZenFone 3 Go will probably be marketed as a selfie handset with its beautification mode with Facebook and YouTube. It is also reported that the Asus ZenFone 3 Go will sport a soft LED flash for better selfie shots. The main camera of the affordable device might have a 5MP front camera and a 13MP camera with LED flash. According to Gadgets 360, the leaked image of the handset appears to have a metal body in a variety of colors, such as black, white, pink and gold.

The ZenFone 3 Go is expected to come along with Qualcomm's Snapdragon 410 processor, 2GB of RAM as well as a 16GB of internal storage. Also, the Asus ZenFone 3 Go might be equipped with a five-magnet speaker coupled with smart amp. As for the price, the Asus ZenFone 3 Go is speculated to have a price tag around $160 to $175.

Furthermore, the Taiwanese computer hardware company silently introduced the ZenFone 3 Go with a different moniker, the Zenfone Live, GSM Arena reported. The affordable smartphone may be packed with average specs, but the highlight of the device is the BeautyLive app that lets a person stream live. The Beautificiation app on the device lets its user edit a lot of facial features such as skin color, size of eyes, and even remove skin blemishes. Nevertheless, if the Asus ZenFone 3 Go owner will register the device with their Google account, the owner will get a100GB space on Google Drive.

In addition, the operating system of the Asus ZenFone 3 Go is said to be the Android Marshmallow 6.0.
