‘Resident Evil 7: Biohazard’ Xbox Scorpio Cancelled Indefinitely; Guide On Defeating Greenhouse Boss

By

Those who are hoping for an Xbox Scorpio upgrade for "Resident Evil 7: Biohazard" are going to be disappointed. Game developer Capcom isn't planning to release Project Scorpio anytime soon.

Game producer Masachika Kawata and director Koshi Nakanishi told Express Online that an Xbox Scorpion optimization is still possible for the game, but the project is not being developed right now.

This is surprising for some players given that "Resident Evil 7: Biohazard" came with a PlayStation 4 Pro support when it was launched late last month, though that version only introduced minor visual improvements. A Nintendo Switch port wasn't released for the title either.

"Resident Evil 7: Biohazard" takes place in the decaying southern farmhouse of the Baker family. Players explore the mansion in the first-person perspective.

Capcom released the game's "Banned Footage Vol. 1" DLC this week, which contains "Nightmare," "Bedroom" and the Extra Mode titled "Ethan Must Die." In "Nightmare," players must fight an endless wave of enemies and survive through the night.

"Bedroom" mode locks players in an unfamiliar room where the family's matriarch, Marguerite, watches over them with a keen eye. The bedroom contains puzzles and hints on how to escape, but you have to do this with Marguerite unaware. Watch the trailer for "Banned Footage Vol. 1" DLC in the end of this report.

Fighting Marguerite in the Greenhouse is not a walk in the park. Fortunately, players can pick up helpful items in the Greenhouse to help them beat the matriarch, who has mutated into a hideous spider-like creature that spits insects from her mouth.

Marguerite climbs walls and ceilings and attacks from there, so it's best to watch out for those locations when fighting her. She also leaps away from attacks and reappears suddenly. Your best chance at defeating her is by staying on the second floor, according to Windows Central.

Firing shotguns at Marguerite at close range inflicts the worst damage. Point the firearm at her stomach, which houses an insect hive.

Pistols knock her from her hiding spots at walls and ceilings but unlike the shotguns, it's best to stay far from the matriarch when firing at her while she's on a wall. This is because she will thrash around and can damage your health.

Flamethrowers and knives are perfect for killing Marguerite's insect spawns. If your ammo runs out, it's best to drop down to the ground to evade her attacks instead of sprinting away.

There are times when Marguerite flees and spawns an insect hive on a wall, characterized by her moaning sounds. This provides you time to hunt for more weapons, though you'd have to deal with the annoying insects she created after.
