NES Classic News: Fans Can Look Forward to Restocks [VIDEO]

By

The long wait is over for gamers as NES Classic is now available at numerous Target stores. Ever since it launched, the console got sold out pretty fast. Because of that, Nintendo has bene working hard to increase production in order to meet the high demand.

According to Yahoo, Target stores across the United States currently have 1 to 10 units available. It is important to call first the store you are planning on going to before going there because the NES Classic sells out fast. In fact, Nintendo took bad criticism for not producing enough units for its fans. If there are none available at your nearest store then the next best thing would be to place a reservation.

In an effort to not get left behind, gamers can also buy NES Classic units at Gamestop. Unfortunately, all customers are limited to only one purchase which means they can't buy for their friends. They are also saying that the console is available while supplies last so it is expected to sell out fast but not as fast when it first launched back in December. It has a price tag of only $59.99 and is already equipped with 30 classic games and a copy of the original controller as reported by Polygon.

In related news, some fans are not happy with the fact that there is a QR code for each game that you have to open when going online. There is no point in doing that since there is lots of room available on the system for the manuals. It is an odd decision for a console that is meant to be used when gamers are offline.
