'Accel World Vs. Sword Art Online' : Twilight Millennium' Get Lots Buzz, Released Date Confirmed

Game developer Bandai Namco has released to the world the first direct-feed gameplay of the PS4 version of Accel World vs. Sword Art Online: Millennium Twilight at the recent Taipei Game Show 2017.

For a starter, Sword Art Online is a 2009 Japanese light novel series written by Reki Kawahara and also published by ASCII Media Works. The Japanese series has spawned eight manga adaptations that have been published by ASCII Media Works.

There's also an animated film "Sword Art Online the Movie: Ordinal Scale" which will premiere on February 18, 2017.

Accel World is another Japanese light novel series written by Reki Kawahara and published by ASCII Media Works.Both Accel World and Sword Art Online are masterpieces of renowned Japanese writer Reki Kawahara. Both series have also inspired various anime projects, manga adaptations and spinoffs, and video games.

Bandai Namco Releases Gameplay Footage
According to Gematsu, Bandai Namco has released the PS4 version of the "Accel World vs. Sword Art Online: Millennium Twilight" during the 2017 Taipei Game Show event in Taiwan. The developer also provides gameplay footage.

During the Taipei Game Show event, producer Yosuke Futami took center stage to showcase some of the gameplay footage, which includes a few numbers of characters in action, boss fight, and much more.

The game show was a combination of live gameplay and recorded footages. The gameplay footage showed Accel Word characters use acceleration, high jump ability, and special powers, while Sword Art Online characters use flight, magic and of course, melee weapons.

The footage also features Accel World's Scarlet Rain, Cyan Pile, Sky Raker, Blood Leapord, Silver Crow and Black Lotus, Sword Art Online's Kirito and Asuna, and Sinon. In addition, the footage also tackles player-versus-player and co-op gameplay.

As for the launch date, the game is slated for release on PS4 and PS Vita on March 16, according to Siliconera.
