Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus Revolution Update: Stereo Speakers Axed For Bixby AI Button; New Renders Shows Dual Camera [SPECS]

Close

Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus is set to take over the phablet race. Its entry to the highly anticipated list of Samsung/s 2017 mobile launches will be bolstered by the upcoming AI assistant named Bixby. Samsung's very own Bixby will match Apple's Siri and it will occupy a very comfortable slot somewhere in Galaxy S8 Plus surface.

According to GSM Arena, Bixby's especially dedicated Galaxy S8 Plus button is expected to lay ground works for Samsung AI Technology. Looking at the said renders, an extra button is noticeably incorporated which is said to be the placed for Bixby's dedicated buttons.

Meanwhile, apart from the special AI button, Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus is also spotted with a dual camera slot. Although it was not clearly seen at the Galaxy S8 Plus renders, an unusual hole for a Samsung device is spotted. This led suspicion for a possible Dual Camera inclusion which is quite wider than that of the Vanilla Galaxy S8.

Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus will be the only phone in the S8 series to sport dual camera if reports came to fruition. In another report, Korean ET News said that the upcoming Galaxy S8 Plus will actually host a dual-lens camera. One will have 16MP and partnered with another 8MP support lens. This is, however, repelled by a leaker at Chinese site Weibo. The said leak suggest that the snapper has 13- and 12-megapixel sensors, Business Insider added.

In the end, these reports are yet to be confirmed by the South Korean tech giant Samsung. This at some point still suggests that the upcoming Galaxy S8 Plus might actually sport the best camera shooter in all upcoming mobile phones slated to release for 2017. Moreover, these S8 line is also expected to be the most powerful since they will be powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 835.
