"Orange is the New Black" Season 5's possible predictions takes off from what transpired last season. It will see the return of characters who survived the radical events that took place in Lichtfield that led to Poussey's death. Moreover, the future of the show is now sealed as "Orange is the New Black" has been the most streamed show in Netflix for 2016.

"Orange is the New Black" Season 5 Storyline

"Orange is the New Black" Season 5 storyline will most likely depend on how the previous season ended -- a cliffhanger with so many unsolved questions. Last season's finale shows Daya grabbing a gun and pointing it toward Humphrey.

Humphrey's abuses could have pushed Daya to breaking point and she might end up pulling the trigger. But then again, she would not, for she will have her daughter to think about. Moreover, Caputo will have more problems in his hands other than covering up for Poussey's death and he may likely keep Piscatella according to What's on Netflix.

Moreover, Lori Petty's Lolly Whitehill who was dragged to the Psych ward in previous season may get to have more screen time. In speaking with Hollywood Reporter in July last year, Petty revealed that she saw a set with huge hallways indicating that the Psych ward will figure prominently in "Orange is the New Black" Season 5.
