The year 2016 has been a big for some game developers and it's the year when the crowd saw the release of some of the biggest expansion update. While 2016 is about to close, it's time to sum up the games that made the biggest headlines this year.

The 5 Best Games of 2016 are:

"Titanfall 2"
Respawn Entertainment's newest entry brings new Titans, new weapons, and new abilities to the table. "Titanfall 2" is a first-person shooter game and a sequel to the Respawn's 2014 hit Titanfall. It's gameplay along with its movement systems and tremendous weapon focus make it a top-tier first-person shooter game. "Titanfall 2" is currently available on Microsoft Xbox One, PC and PS4.

"Final Fantasy 15"
Many called it the most anticipated role-playing game of the last decade, mainly because it was literally first announced a decade ago. Square Enix's newest fictional science game has finally launched this year. The newest installment introduced a real-time combat system."Final Fantasy XV" is currently available on Microsoft Xbox One gaming console and Sony's PlayStation 4 console.

"Overwatch"
Blizzard's team-based first-person shooter game "Overwatch" has taken the gaming world by storm this year, with a strong focus on character and gameplay. According to Digital Trends, each playable "Overwatch" character offers different abilities and weapons that allow for a varied and unique range of gameplay, something more interesting for the players.

"Overwatch" was originally launched with casual play, but Blizzard decided to add competitive ranked play month after its release in the market. Blizzard has also got deeper and introduced new characters, maps, and game modes to the game while stating that all "Overwatch" updates will remain free. "Overwatch" is currently available on PC, Xbox One, and PS4.

"Forza Horizon 3"
PlayGround Games' racing game has offered up an open-world spin on the famed racing franchise for the last few years, with "Forza Horizon 3" making the latest and probably the best entry yet. Instead of showing hyper-real physics, "Forza Horizon 3" takes a new route and offers up a more arcade-y style that set in the wild of Australia. According to ShackNews, "Forza Horizon 3" makes a good game because it's an easy-to-learn racing game for everyone, just easy enough for anyone to pick up and enjoy. "Forza Horizon 3" is currently available on Xbox One and PC.

"Gears of War 4"
The Coalition and its third-person shooter game Gears of War series may have been left alone in the dark after the "Gears of War: Judgement" has not received a kind of warm welcome the developer is expecting. But this has not stopped the developer from improving the game. The Coalition has returned, and this time with a vengeance. It brings a more intense and a whole new bunch of gaming experience.

According to Windows Report, the new entry about to get more intense and high-action this month, as the developer confirmed the released date of the new UIR Pack. "Gears of War 4" is currently available on PC and Xbox One.
