The year 2016 saw the release of some major biggest titles, but now, as 2016 comes to an end, it's time to look ahead to what's coming in 2017. Here the Most Anticipated Games of 2017.
"Halo Wars 2"
The gaming market is getting nasty for Microsoft and the software giant is in great need of something that could keep its presence in the market. Enter "Halo Wars 2," an upcoming real-time strategy game developed by 343 Industries. It set in a science fiction universe within the Halo series, which takes place 30 years after the original Halo Wars. "Halo Wars 2" will arrive on February 21, 2017, on Xbox One and Windows PC, iDigital Times reported.
Bungie's First shooter game Destiny has been one of the most hyped video games of all time prior to its release in 2014. Bungie is currently working hard to improve the game with multiple expansion and planned for a sequel. Not much information is known about the sequel, other than the fact that it is still development.
But the sequel might represent an opportunity for Bungie to win back the hearts and minds of those players who left the franchise after the initial hype died down. According to GameRant, "Destiny 2" is planned for 2017 release on PS4 and Xbox One.
"Mass Effect: Andromeda"
The upcoming action role-playing third-person shooter game, which developed by BioWare and published by Electronic Arts, is said to represent a new beginning for the Mass Effect franchise and a whole new gaming experience within the Mass Effect universe. "Mass Effect: Andromeda" will be released in March 2017 for PS4, Xbox One, and PC, WWG reported.
"Resident Evil 7"
One of the biggest gaming surprises of the recent E3 2016 event was the reveal of "Resident Evil 7" as the new first-person survival adventure horror game. Resident Evil has been known in the gaming world for its scares jumps, but getting the creepy zombies to run right up into the player's faces might take the game to a whole new level of gaming experience.
According to PC Advisor, "Resident Evil 7" will be released on January 24 for PS4, Xbox One and PC.
