The Apple iOS 10.2 is reportedly introducing the "30 percent battery bug" to iPhone 6 and iPhone 6s Plus devices, which suddenly shut off when the battery level hits the 30 percent mark. However, Apple now includes in the latest update a hidden battery diagnostic tool and release the iOS 10.2.1 for public beta testing, which have been reported to improve battery performance.

Incidentally, the bug is reported to spare the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7s Plus.
