‘Overwatch’ Cheats: What Are The Different Type of Cheat Tools That Could Get You Banned

By

"Overwatch" Cheats are being weeded out continuously from the game. Blizzard's ban hammer has surprised a lot of dishonest players who though they could get away with it.

Cheat Tools Currently Used

"Overwatch" cheats use a variety of tools to cheat their way to victory. A number of players use Aimbots to take headshots of their opponents. The accuracy of this program will make even Widowmaker green with envy. Wall Hack can be a deadly complement to a cheater's "enhanced" sniping skills. This tool can detect enemies hidden by walls. Some of these tools can even allow its users walk through walls. There is also a Speed Hack can make users outrun and outpace their opponents.

"Overwatch" cheats can make use of Unlimited Ammo Hack although ammo shortage is not a problem in the game. Instead, a tool that can eliminate cooldowns will be much appreciated. The best and the most unfair of them all is the God Mode tool. Users are virtually unstoppable since the program simply replenished their health quickly. There are also Bots that can be deployed in the game.

Using These Tools Can Get You Banned

Some "Overwatch" cheats found out the hard way that Blizzard is watching them after all. One of those players is a top ranking player from Korea named KID x, according to Kotaku. He was good natured enough to show online how he used the Aimbot. Blizzard's response was fast and final. Within three minutes of use, KID x was promptly booted out of the game.

This shows that Blizzard is always vigilant in booting out the "Overwatch" cheats from the game. Their strict enforcement can also lead to legal suits against the tool developers. Some of those caught though even had the temerity to mull legal charges against the developer. The possibility that they also open themselves to countersuits may have made them think it over. After all, why sue Blizzard for catching you cheating in the first place?
