As "The Vampire Diaries" season 8 nearing its return on TV, more speculations are circulating online. It only proves how excited the fans are to see the final season of their beloved TV series. Check out the latest rumors.

Nina Dobrev's return has been previously reported but interestingly enough, it's not only her who is coming back to Mystic Falls. Chris Wood (Kai Parker) may have hinted his return to "The Vampire Diaries" when he posted on his Twitter account about being sorry for not making it to Orlando. He also mentioned about the changed shoot schedule and that his being busy might mean good.

Wood's post made his fans speculate that the reason why he wasn't able to go to Orlando is that he might have gone to Atlanta to shoot "The Vampire Diaries." Now, the question is, how could he possibly be back when he has been decapitated in the sixth season? Well, TWD fans certainly know that nothing is impossible in "The Vampire Diaries."

Meanwhile, Ian Somerhalder (Damon Salvatore) and Paul Wesley (Stefan Salvatore) had already shared what they wanted to see in the finale of "The Vampire Diaries where they both wanted Damon and Stefan to just disappear. Both stars believe that after all the evil and cruel things they have done, they really don't deserve happiness and so it is just right for them to die in the end.

So, Damon and Stefan are to die in the end, it will cause a major heartbreak to Elena (Nina Dobrev) and Caroline (Candice King). It was previously reported that something terrible will happen on the season 8 of "The Vampire Diaries" and so fans are to guess that it will be the death of Damon and Stefan.

The season 8 of "The Vampire Diaries" is slated to return on television on January 13, 2017 which is only few days from now.
