Although reports are claiming that the Nintendo Switch won't be as powerful as Sony's PlayStation 4, wherein the highly anticipated hybrid gaming system from Nintendo reportedly has lower specs compared to the PS4. Nonetheless, it appears that Nintendo Switch has some features that game enthusiasts will still enjoy.

Apparently, the Nintendo Switch has outdated hardware that can't compete with the PlayStation 4. The Nvidia Tegra processor of Switch is older than the latest Pascal processor, which means that Nintendo's upcoming gaming system may not be able to support 4K gaming, which Sony has been marketing as the latest feature for its gaming consoles. This news comes as no surprise as Nintendo has been working on the upcoming console for years before the Pascal was out, according to Venture Beat.

The Nintendo Switch may not be as powerful as Sony's PS4, however, gamers can still play Nintendo games on the console with ease. The edge of Nintendo gaming has not been assembled on cutting-edge technology, which is why the 4K gaming's appeal was not so emphasized.

Nevertheless, the hybrid capability of the Switch is appealing to game enthusiast who are on the go. It has been claimed that the Nintendo Switch is a console and a multi-platform gaming system in one.

In spite of that, gamers are still able to play their game even when they are on the road, this is due to the detachable console that is independent of Nintendo Switch. Furthermore, the specs of the Nintendo Switch resembles to those on the Xbox One, which still provides great gaming performance despite the lack of 4K support.

That being the case, the tech company is expected to pitch in more details about the hybrid console including the price during Nintendo's big event on Jan. 13. 2017. The Nintendo Switch is slated to roll out by March 2017, Game Rant reported.
