Microsoft's Xbox Project Scorpio is said to roll out with a hefty price tag. The Xbox Scorpio, which the tech giant calls the most powerful gaming system ever, will be the luxury and premium console in the Xbox series.

The Xbox Project Scorpio will surely be available with a high price, as Xbox boss Phil Spencer was talking to Levelup, he revealed that the most powerful console of the generation will be much more expensive than the Xbox One S.

Xbox boss stated that even though they haven't announced the price points for Scorpio, Spencer wants to make sure that the investments they are putting into the Scorpio meets the demands of the higher end gamers, and that will be a higher price.

In corroborating Spencer's statement, a spokesperson for Microsoft recently claimed that the Scorpio would offer true 4K. The Xbox Project Scorpio will be like a high-end gaming PC in a console, and like a high-end gaming PC, the contents of Xbox Project Scorpio will be worth thousands of dollars. In another conversation, Microsoft's Aaron Greenberg described Xbox Project Scorpio as the most powerful gaming system any gamer has ever seen, Value Walk reported.

That being said, Xbox Scorpio is said to come along with six teraflops of graphical power. Microsoft's Xbox Project Scorpio is also expected to outrank the PlayStation 4 Pro when it comes to memory. The American tech monster has already confirmed that Xbox Scorpio will have a memory bandwidth of 320 GB, while the PS4 Pro is only up for grabs at 218 GB, according to PC Advisor.

Nonetheless, a number of industry experts are claiming that Xbox Project Scorpio's ability to run games at a native 4K resolution might compromise some features of the gaming system. In spite of that, gamers are eager to know more about the official list of specs and release date of Xbox Project Scorpio, and Microsoft is slated to pitch in the announcement anytime soon.
