“One Punch Man” has been a great blockbuster punch in the anime world topping some charts last year, but ever since its first season, fans have been anticipating its second season, storyline and release date.

Later this year, news broke out that "One Punch Man" second season is currently under production and might be on the anime screen again more likely earlier than expected.

“One Punch Man” Season 2 is anticipated to feature a whole new storyline and some characters. Here are things to expect on the upcoming season:

Season Two expected to feature Garou as main villain

While in the first season, Saitama -the main character, was seen to be totally bored fighting his enemies with just one punch.

That is why speculations that in the upcoming season two, he might face villains that are beyond his punch and would finally put up a good fight.

As cited in Sportsrageous, Garou who is a former disciple of Bang and known as the “Human Monster” is expected to be one of the main villains if ever the anime will be following the storyline of the manga.

He has a strong hatred to all heroes and has the ability to fight with Saitama’s punch head-to-head.

Saitama's Back Story

The upcoming season is reportedly to tackle about Saitama's origin and the beginning of his power. That also means it might finally feature the hero’s weaknesses that can be used against him by the new enemies.

However, season two is also theorized to introduce additional allies that will help Saitama defeat the villains.

Saitama’s Love Interest

There have been a lot of expectation that Saitama might finally find love in the upcoming series. As Mobipicker reports, a love triangle might happen in the second season.

This might circle on the siblings Fubuki and Tatsumaki, a B-Class superhero and an S-Class superhero respectively.
