HTC is currently making its preparations for the upcoming release of its HTC 10 handset, dubbed as Bolt (in international markets) or HTC 10 Evo (for the Taiwanese market). Much of the anticipation, leaked materials from Sprint have surfaced online detailing the device's specs and release date.

According to the promo materials, HTC Bolt is set to showcase a modified camera. It will boast a higher resolution, to the tune of 16 megapixels (MPs) and an optical image stabilization (OIS). GSMArena reported from the slides that the device promises a good low-light performance on its new camera, which will record 4K video with 24-bit high-res audio.

Following the leaked Sprint promotional material, the device will feature an IP57 certification for water and dust protection. This more advanced waterproofing functionality will allow the device to stay for half an hour in one-meter deep of water level. However, the slides have advised that consumers should not submerge their devices intentionally. (GSMArena)

In addition, the promotional slides have also revealed that the Taiwanese company will cater Amazon's Alexa over Google Assistant, which the firm has yet to disclose that detailed information. The phone will be coming with a pre-installed Android 7.0 Nougat with the Sense 8.0 UI.

According to Daily, the HTC Bolt will feature the world's first adaptive earphones, which are said to feature a speaker that's 70 percent larger than the one found in standard earphones. The HTC earphones, tagged as "BoomSound Adaptive Audio," will be armed with large drivers and advanced bass response, which will be a great competition to LG V20's audio ability.

Furthermore, the headphones will be sporting 24-bit audio processing and an automatic calibration to its users' ears. A diaphragm made from aerospace-grade plover allows the phone to deliver two-times the sound range.

The phone will sport a 3,200 mAh battery which promises talk time of over 20 hours. Its Quick Charge technology will charge to last up to a day in 30 minutes.

The slides did not mention details about the HTC Bolt's storage, RAM or processor, although previous rumors claim it will have a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 CPU. The smartphone is expected to be announced on Nov. 11 via Sprint and will be available both in Glacial Silver and Carbon Grey variants.
