Oppo F1s, Redmi Note 3 Specs Review: Speedtest Proves Which One Comes Out as The Expert [VIDEO]

Oppo F1s and Redmi Note 3 sport 5.5 inch screen. Which one wins the speedtest and comes as the real expert?

Oppo F1s review: The design and specs

Oppo F1s has a metal unibody design. Sporting 5.5 inch display with 267 ppi pixel density, the phone rocks Corning Gorilla Glass 4. It fits in the palm and looks elegant with the curvy edges.

Oppo F1s runs Android Lollipop and gets octa-core Mediatek MT6750 under its hood, GSM Arena wrote. What's unique about the handset lies in the optics department. The rear camera packs 13 MP (dual LED flash, PDA) whilst the front packs 16 MP with 1/3.1" sensor size. Oppo equips the flagship with non-removable 3075 mAh battery. Other components similar to Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 include fingerprint scanner and accelerometer.

The phone is dubbed as the selfie expert because the front-facing camera is able to capture crisp and sharp images, but when capturing in low-light condition, the result is quite disappointing as it lacks of details. Furthermore, the lack of Full HD display and front flash may also be a deal breaker since the other brands are offering such specifications at a much lower price. The set of specs itself is considered average.

Redmi Note 3 review: The design and specs

Redmi Note 3 rocks 5.5 inch display and 403 ppi pixel density. The screen has a better display quality than Oppo F1s but apparently Xiaomi does not protect Redmi Note 3 with Corning Gorilla Glass.

The optics get 16 MP of rear camera and 5 MP of front camera. Redmi Note 3 offers hexa-core Snapdragon 650 with two options of RAM-ROM pairings:16 GB, 2 GB RAM and 32 GB, 3 GB RAM. One disadvantage is the lack of dedicated memory slot unlike Oppo F1s.

When it comes to battery, Redmi Note 3 wins over Oppo F1s as it has a whopping non-removable 4050 mAh battery capacity. And even when compared with Lenovo vibe K5 Note, Xiaomi's flagship is still a solid choice when it comes to performance, University Herald reported.

Redmi Note 3 or Oppo F1s?

On paper, the Redmi Note 3 seems to be a step behind Oppo F1s but the video below shows how Redmi Note 3 has a better and faster performance when switching between apps. The camera quality may not be high-flyer but it produces accurate colors and it is able to focus fast on objects. However, the image quality is quickly reduced in low-light condition.

For consumers who are selfie-lovers, Oppo F1s packs a punch with its 16 MP front-facing camera. Apart from that, the performance and specs are slightly below the Redmi Note 3.
