Android 7.0 Nougat Roll Out: Samsung Galaxy Note 7 Gets First Dibs On Nougat In Two Months; NOTHING For Google Nexus 5 and Google Nexus 7 (2013)? [LIST OF DEVICES HERE]

By

Android 7.0 Nougat mobile operating system has been recently released by Google across Nexus devices including Nexus 6, Nexus 5X, Nexus 6P, Nexus 9, Nexus Player, Pixel C devices and the Android One smartphone General Mobile 4G. However, Samsung users may have to wait for a couple of months before getting the taste of the newly launched Android 7.0 Nougat mobile OS.

While several smartphones with Android operating systems have yet to receive Android 7.0 Nougat, the OS is still expected to hit the devices in the coming months. However, smartphone manufacturers have not revealed the exact dates as to when they will expect the update, Digital Trends reported.

Meanwhile, much older Google Nexus models such as Google Nexus 5 and Google Nexus 7 (2013) will not be getting the Android 7.0 Nougat, unfortunately. Samsung is also expected to limit the roll out of the Android 7.0 Nougat update to their devices.  Reports claimed that only Samsung Galaxy S6, Samsung S6 Edge, Samsung Edge Plus, Samsung Galaxy S7, Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge, Samsung Galaxy Note 5, Samsung Galaxy S7 Active, Samsung Galaxy Note 7 and Samsung Galaxy J3 could expect the upgrade.

Samsung reportedly sees the release of Android Nougat 7.0 for it devices during the fourth quarter of the year. This may mean that the OS will arrive to Samsung devices between October and December, SamMobile reported.

For Samsung Galaxy Note 7 users, however, experts guarantee that the latest Samsung flagship phone will be the first Samsung device to debut the Android 7.0 Nougat upgrade. This may reportedly happen within two months after the official Android 7.0 Nougat roll out.

Android 7.0 Nougat upgrade for Samsung Galaxy Note 7 is just as what users have expected since the device is suggested to be the best Samsung smartphone yet. It only makes sense that it would get first taste of the newly launched Android 7.0 Nougat.
