"World of Warcraft" patch 7.2 will be released next week with new features added. Battle.net has now become Blizzard after transition.

Patch 7.2 launch

The upcoming major patch for the video game, Tomb of Sargeras, will be live on servers on March 28, according to its official website. Players who have been long time fans of the game series will remember the Tomb of Sargeras especially for those who played "Warcraft 3: The Frozen Throne." This is the location where Gul'dan was lured and then murdered by some demons and turning his skull into a magical artifact.

Sargeras

The name Sargeras is thought to be one of the franchise's most powerful villains. He created the Burning Legion in an effort to destroy everything in his path. He has conquered most of the worlds in the game so far, but Azeroth is the only remaining one that he has yet to conquer.

Tomb accessibility

In this latest patch, players will not be able to access the tomb right away. It will be just like with patch 7.1, where the last part will come later and it will become the finale for the chapter in "World of Warcraft's" story.

Players will have to return to The Broken Shore, after their defeat there at the beginning of the latest expansion. After that, they will have to fight against Kil'Jaedan and his fleet of demonic spaceships.

Defenses

Players will be able to contribute to the construction of three different buildings in the game. They can do this through the Legionfall Construction Table. These buildings are the Mage Tower, Command Center, and the Nether Disruptor.

From Battle.net to Blizzard

In other Blizzard related news, the game company has decided to change the name of Battle.net and just simply call the platform Blizzard. According to another post on the official website of "World of Warcraft," the old name caused some confusion and inefficiencies related to having two separate identities. They did not see any need to maintain a separate identity for what is essentially their own networking technology.
