Pokemon Bank, the service that lets players transfer Pokemons from various platforms, now supports Sun and Moon. Besides being compatible with Sun and Moon, Pokemon Bank also offers a lot of exciting features to its users. Now, it seems like fans are literally breaking the bank with Pokemon Bank.

How Players Can Use Pokemon Bank

Pokemon Bank users can transfer Pokemons from various titles like Alpha Sapphire, X, Y, Omega Ruby, and 3DS Virtual Console's Red, Blue, and Yellow. Now, they can also transfer their favorite Pokemons between those platforms and the new Sun and Moon. For a $4.99 annual subscription fee, Pokemon Bank users can enjoy the features mentioned, as well as get additional storage for a bigger collection, Polygon reported.

Pokemon Bank brings the expanded National Pokedex to Sun and Moon to let the previously unavailable Pokemon into the main campaign. Besides the amazing new capabilities mentioned above, there are other exciting features offered in the new update. One of the major offers is the Mewnium Z.

Nintendo is offering Mewnium Z, which is the Z-crystal for Mew, as part of the Bank update, Tech Radar reported. Players can claim this give away only until October 2 and it only works on Sun and Moon. This means, Pokemon Bank users who still down have Sun or Moon, they still have a lot of time to buy the titles.

Yes, players can transfer their Pokemons from various titles. However, there is a limitation when it comes to virtual consoles, as well as the Black and White titles. Players who want to bring their Pokemon from the Black and White and previous titles can do so, by bringing them first to Alpha Sapphire, X, Y, Omega Ruby, before transferring to Sun and Moon. Also, players can transfer their Pokemons from the Red, Blue, and Yellow titles to the Sun or Moon, but they can't transfer them back.

Adventure Records is another new feature for the Pokemon Bank update, which is like a memory book service that lets players look back to the stats of the Pokemons they have encountered and captured in the past.
