New "Digimon World: Next Order" teaser trailer reveals "Extra Cross Evolution" feature and more. The PlayStation 4 version of the game will feature the favorites, as well as brand new Digimons that fans are excited about, including the Demon-Type BoltBautamon.

"Digimon World: Next Order" Trailer and Release Date

The "Digimon World: Next Order" English trailer for PlayStation 4  released Wednesday features Digimon Training, Raising, Evolving together, and even the "Extra Cross Evolution" feature, Anime News Network reported. Bandai Namco Entertainment is expected to release the PlayStation 4 version of the game on January 27 in Europe and January 31 in America. Fans can buy the game through the PlayStation Store or other retail stores.

Fans who will pre-order the game will get bonus features including the soundtrack for the new game, and Adventure Aid Downloadable Content, the original "Digimon World" PlayStation game, and the digivolution core of the popular Omegamon.

What to Expect from "Digimon World: Next Order"

According to Bandai Namco, the game starts off with the players being teleported into the Digital World as Machinedramons attack them. They should work with their Digimon partners to find out where the Machinedramons really came from. The characters should train their Digimon partners to progress in the story until they find a way back to their own world.

The game has 200 Digimons that players will have to meet in their adventure in the Digital world. Players can choose to either be male or female with two Digimon partners, which is a first in the franchise.

One thing that fans are very excited about is the appearance of a new Digimon called BoltBautamon, Gematsu reported. This is a demon-type Digimon that resulted from Piedmon and Myotismon. Its major goal is to cover the whole Digital world with darkness and its special skill is "Palazivalzer," which launches magic powers from its sword called "Spiendini."
