"Yu-Gi-Oh! The Dark Side of Dimensions" 2017 movie was announced in April 23, 2016 and is set to premier in U.S. theaters on Jan. 27. With only few days away from its premier date, Crunchyroll released a preview to keep excitement going among fans across the country. But unlike other anime movies, "Yu-Gi-Oh! The Dark Side of Dimensions" will not be censored.

With the upcoming movie, fans from English speaking countries had requested to keep the "Yu-Gi-Oh" uncensored. Most anime series get censored when being released worldwide. In response the official "Yu-Gi-OH! The Dark Side of Dimensions" YouTube channel said that the movie will not be censored. They assured audiences that the movie will not be cut for its theatrical and home video releases in the English-speaking countries. Although the channel hinted few touchups which could also include the changes of the cards appearing in the film which of course they have to change to the English version, ComicBook reported.

If the movie comes out uncensored, fans can expect more violent scenes as a new fierce antagonist surfaces. In the preview released by Crunchyroll, Yugi looks more dangerous than ever. The movie will focus on the task assigned to Yugi and Kaiba which is to stop the evil plans of the new antagonist - the character of Aigami- using the Dark Magician and the Blue Eyes White Dragon, iDigitalTimes reported. "Yu-Gi-Oh! The Dark Side of Dimensions" also shows Yugi reuniting with his childhood friends.

The movie will not only reunite Yugi and his friends as fans can also reunite with their childhood friends when they go and see "Yu-Gi-Oh! The Dark Side of Dimensions" movie. It will be shown just in time before the worldwide hit anime series celebrates its 20th anniversary next year.
