The "Pokémon Sun and Moon" has banned two particular moves to prevent online battle crashes. Moreover, the "Pokémon Sun and Moon" first global mission challenges involve catching 100 Pokémon starting yesterday. Join and register to win 1000 Festival coins.

It has been two weeks since certain Z-moves were banned in the online battling community games. Nintendo banned the Z-moves, Memento and Parting Shot, after discovering that these moves result to frequent crashes of the game.

This is a temporary arrangement and the Z-moves will again be available after Nintendo fixes the glitch according to Game Spot. Trainers are advised to keep their Battle Party for the banned functionality may be brought back to the game soon.

Meanwhile, the creators of the "Pokémon Sun and Moon" have just launched the first Global Mission Challenges to catch 100 Pokémon, marking the first multiplayer online event. The contest started yesterday and will end on Dec. 13, giving the gaming community just two weeks to complete the challenge.

Though some players have complained that catching a Pokémon from one generation is hard enough, the Pokémon Company has made the game into an online community challenge. This means that catching 100 Pokémon is a group effort and not an individual one, dualShockers have learned.

The prize for the Global Mission Challenge is 1000 Festival Coins for every player, no matter how far gone they are in the game. The Festival Coins can be used to purchase items and facilities in the Festival Plaza, the online multiplayer hub for the "Pokémon Sun and Moon."

The Pokémon Company has launched the challenge with the sole purpose of giving incentives to those who have beaten the game. The developers also promised that the challenge will be the first of many large-scale competitions in the future.

Anyone with a copy of the game can participate, but in order to be counted, the trainer need to register first to take part in the Global Mission. Players will need to connect their game to the Global Link and talk to the lady manning the desk in the Festival Plaza's castle. There is also a consolation prize of 100 Festival Coins per player if the challenge has not been completed.

The "Pokémon Sun and Moon" was released last Nov. 18, 2016 in Nintendo 3Ds, exceeding record sales and has become Nintendo's most pre-ordered title to date. The success of the "Pokémon Sun and Moon" rode on the successes of "Pokémon Go" and an effective marketing strategy for the Pokémon's 20^th anniversary commemoration.
