This December, DC Comics fans are in for a treat with a six issue comic mini-series that tackle the story on how and why "Justice League" shuts down "Suicide Squad." Joshua Williamson is tapped to write the story along with a powerhouse team of six artists who will do one of each issue of this latest offering from DC Comics.

Williamson, whose recent works include "The Flash-Rebirth" and "Voodoo-New 52," will be writing the story on this epic clash between the two popular teams of DC Comics. Originally, DC Comics tapped Jayson Fabok, known for his work in "Detective Comics-New 52" and "Justice League-DC You," as the sole illustrator.

However, DC announced that there will be five more artists who will be showcasing their ink in the newest DC Comics mini-series. The new additions are Tony S. Daniel, Jesus Merino, Fernando Pasarin, Robson Rocha and Howard Porter as reported by ComicBookMovie. All five artists have worked with DC Comics in the past.

Following the 'Rebirth' era, the DC universe will be the arena for the epic battle between "Justice League" and the "Suicide Squad." A major event has significantly affected the "Suicide Squad" and the "Justice League" intervenes to shut them down.

Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Flash, Cyborg and the rest of the "Justice League" will shut down Amanda Waller, Harley Quinn, Deadshot, Jessica Cruz, Captain Boomerang and the Task Force X, more known as the "Suicide Squad." The comics will definitely feature epic fight scenes and intricate plot lines. Like most DC stories, the two factions will likely come to an uneasy truce as they brace for an even greater enemy.

In an interview with GameSpot, Williamson admits the huge pressure of writing about DC's most powerful teams, but he is set on having fun in the process. His goal is to have a chart-topping blockbuster comic series that will delight its readers especially the fans.
