Once again, Superman will fly alone in a solo film in the sequel of "Man of Steel". After "Batman v Superman" and "Suicide Squad", DC and Warner Bros. will not stop making more superhero films.

Previously, reports saying that a "Batman" solo movie would be released. Ben Affleck's bat vigilante is not the only one to have a solo movie because Superman will once again fly in a solo film as a sequel to the previous "Man of Steel".

The first "Man of Steel" raked over $668 million from box offices around the globe while "Batman v Superman" has earned $872 million. Since DC Comics had been silent with about the "Man of Steel" sequel, fans speculated that there would be no more DC Superhero movies after the scheduled ones. However, an unnamed reliable source said that Superman is a top-priority project for the studio and they are now working on getting the character right, The Wrap reported.

The supposedly "Man of Steel 2" which should have followed its prequel, became "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" instead which is also a follow-up to the 2013 film. The announcement in 2014 stated that the next Superman appearance would be in the upcoming "Justice League". DC's calendar is currently full with two movie releases per year until 2020. Superman's solo film would have to wait, Cinemablend reported.

The upcoming "Justice League would feature the Kryptonian Hero, Superman; Wonder Woman; The Flash; Cyborg; and Aquaman. Fans are looking forward to seeing Henry Cavill's Superman on November 17, 2017.

Meanwhile, the Gotham Knight beat superman to a movie. The Wrap's unnamed source mentioned that the solo "Batman" film would probably come out first before the "Man of Steel" sequel.

DC has also prepared other members of the Justice League by making a solo film for them. "The Flash", "Wonder Woman" and "Aquaman" films are coming soon. Additionally, two untitled films are set to be launched on October 5, 2018 and November 1, 2019.
