Microsoft's Xbox Project Scorpio is one of the highly anticipated gaming system to date, and game enthusiasts will finally get to see the video game console at the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3 2017). As the Xbox Project Scorpio is said to come along with 4K game DVR capture, the tech giant is said to ditch the Power Brick.

The Redmond, Washington tech titan will use a new design for its upcoming Xbox Project Scorpio, according to Kit Guru. The power supply of the Xbox Project Scorpio will now be included in the chassis. Wherein, the internal power supply unit will replace the Power Brick, which the tech company has been using for a long time. Meanwhile, Sony has already incorporated an internal power supply starting with their PlayStation 4.

The tech monster has been claiming the Xbox Project Scorpio will offer a true 4K gaming experience. Wherein, Microsoft's upcoming video game console will come along with HEVC and VP9 codecs, which will help make the device to be a true 4K gaming system. The 4K streams will be decoded by the console's codecs. Also, the game DVR feature of the Xbox Project Scorpio will allow gamers to stream and record clips in 4K resolution with 60 frames per second (FPS), according to Express.

Xbox Project Scorpio's Game DVR feature is a huge step up from Xbox One's 720p, 30FPS. Xbox Project Scorpio's ability to offer 4K 60fps video game capture would give the device a huge edge over PS4 Pro's 1080p and 60fps. If Microsoft's upcoming console successfully incorporates 4K video game DVR capture, YouTubers can effortlessly add clip to their videos. The Game DVR feature will also deal with the issue of purchasing expensive 4K video game capture cards.

In spite of that, Microsoft did not pitch in the exact Xbox Project Scorpio release date, but the powerful gaming system will launch in time for the 2017 holiday season.
