Epic Games has a great news for its gamers. The latest news includes Donald Mustard's interview about the development stage of each six new and updated games. Adding on, Tim Sweeney reveals other details about the company.

Epic Games Tim Sweeney On Going Back To The Company's Roots

According to VentureBeat, CEO and founder of Epic Games, Tim Sweeney, tells his approach on working with other publishers.

As per his interview, Epic Games is determined to go back to where it came from, from its roots.

"We go directly to users without publisher's relationship," say Sweeney. "The friction that is there. It's so much better to operate a game live and change it in response to consumer feedback."

As for the example, Sweeney reveals in his interview that Paragon, one of their games, has changed a lot, "it's a continual dialogue". He connects this feature to their aim of going back to their roots, the days when they are still starting. He notes, Epic Games is all about that.

Epic Games Six New Games: Details And Development Stage

Meanwhile, along with his interview about his goal for the company, he also announces that six new games are currently in the works. Donald Mustard, Epic Games Worldwide Creative Director, on the other hand, also reveals details about the games.

The said six new and updated games are "Battle Breakers", "Paragon", "Fortnite", "Spyjinx", "Unreal Tournament", and "Robo Recall".

Mustard reveals in his interview with Polygon the current development stages of the games. For "Battle Breakers", it is currently available in the Philippines and Epic Games is looking forward to launching it soon in Canada and Australia. The company might release the game in summer.

As for "Fortnite," it is in "closed alpha" but new about it could be expected very soon. "Spyjinx", on the other hand, might be released later this year while "Unreal Tournament" is still in early developments.

In addition, "Paragon", is still in beta but with "more dramatic changes". The said changes include a more competitive game and an "overhaul of the game's card system".

Moreover, in "Robo Recall" update, the current update is, it will be a free game for all Oculus gamers, purchase and activate touch controllers and you'll get the game for free.

"It's very arcade-y, very over the top. It's all about how we can make you feel like you are Neo or John Wick," says Mustard as he describes the game.
