Samsung Galaxy S9 Features and Specs

No major innovations have been reported for the Galaxy S8 and this is because of the fact that Samsung might be saving the best for last. According to Forbes, Galaxy X with foldable display is likely to come to life in 2018 because the South Korean tech firm has now enough resources for the materials to be used in the mass production of the new display technology.

In relative to that, the mysterious Galaxy X is likely to be the Samsung Galaxy S9 which is expected to house the newest 7nm processor chipset of the South Korean tech firm. Competitive performance that comes in low power consumption are said to be the main goal of Samsung for the new device.

In fact, Samsung has reportedly started the production of the new processor chipset in preparation for next year by taking advantage of the EUV or Extreme Ultraviolet Exposure in the process. According to the Managing Director of Samsung Electronics System LSI Division Dr. Heo Kuk, the company aims to be at par on the competitiveness of 14nm and 10nm processor chipsets in the market.

Samsung Galaxy S9 is likely to run Android 8.0 out-of-the-box, will feature the digital assistant Bixby and a high-spec camera. Furthermore, the new device is said to be the first Samsung handset to feature the AMOLED display with 4K resolution, according to The Telegraph.

Samsung Galaxy S9 Release Date

There are two possible events where Samsung is likely to unveil the Galaxy S9 in 2018. The annual Consumer Electronics Show (CES) and Mobile World Congress (MWC) are tech expos where major tech manufacturers in the world gathered to showcase their new products and Samsung is one of them.
