Samsung plans to reveal the details of its upcoming flagship smartphone, the Galaxy S8, during the MWC 2017 event. The tech company is speculated to reveal the launch date of the flagship smartphone during the event. Wherein, the Samsung Galaxy S8 is said to to get unveiled on March 29 and the release date of the handset is said to be on April 21.

Before Samsung will reveal the Galaxy S8 at the end of March, the South Korean tech giant was working on building consumer confidence in its upcoming flagship smartphone. After the Galaxy Note 7 fiasco, the tech company is making a number of moves that appear to be strengthening Galaxy S8's competencies. One of the reasons of the delayed launch of the Galaxy S8 is to discover the Note 7 issues. Samsung has had to wait to gather all the information regarding the Galaxy Note 7 fiasco and the company implemented new testing procedures to ensure the Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus will be safe to roll out, according to Forbes.

Nevertheless, the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus are widely rumored to be powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 835 chip. In spite of that, the tech giant also teased to use its new house-made Exynos 9, as the official Twitter account of Samsung Exynos Processor made it known that the chipset is coming soon, CNET reported.

Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus' purported color options and pricing have leaked online. The Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus are both listed to come in Orchid Gray, Black and Gold colors. The Samsung Galaxy S8 will have a price tag of $950, while the Galaxy S8 Plus will be up for grabs for $1,050, Sam Mobile has learned.

That being the case, the Galaxy S8 is said to sport a 5.8-inch display and the Galaxy S8 Plus will have a 6.2-inch display. Furthermore, both handsets are said to come along with a Super AMOLED curved-edge displays.
