The Winnow food management app can monitor, analyze and track food waste. Winnow claims that kitchens typically saves 3 to 8 percent on food costs. People around Europe, UAE, Asia, and Australia are using the Winnow food management app, The Guardian reported.

Meanwhile, the FoodCloud food management app is used by the UK and Ireland's farms and food manufacturers to give charities information regarding their surplus food for donation.

Furthermore, the MintScraps app can track food wastage. The Too Good To Go food management app can be used to locate unsold foods from restaurants and vendors.

Unilever's Wise Up On Waste food management app is targeting commercial kitchens and reduce the amount of food waste. Food thrown out are lessened for the reason that this app tracks the amount of food wastage, which include its volume.
